I ended up in love.
It Dimmed.
So I retraced my footsteps,
It then shown brighter than before.

Got in the passenger seat and closed my eyes.
I found myself grown with him.
Alone, frightened, lost.
I reached out, asked the man at the gas station where I was.
Retraced the map he handed me.
Refreshed, relaxed, and restored.
----
Fell asleep next to him one night,
Awoke forgetting,
Who I was.
He woke up,
I looked into those sleepy eyes,
And remembered that first blind step i took.
It was worth it.
----
It is a never ending cycle of forgetting and remembering.

Where ambient bells and xylophones ring in the distance
Carrying on until they wrap around into full strings
piano or guitar chords, it doesn't really matter.
As long as voices echo in the horizon
Humming an all too familiar tune--only heard for the first time
Deep plucks pulling the currents to their final resting place
And soothing fade-outs doing less than bursts,
The sudden rushes into the sea of contemporary orchestra.
